Yes! It’s none other than ‘Kolkata Biryani’🥘 from ‘Arsalan’, a famous Mughlai Restaurant in Kolkata. Whenever I visited Kolkata during summer break, I definitely tried the delicacies at this restaurant. It is amazing indeed!😍😋
My friend ‘Sheldon’😎 has come to India for his friend Rajesh’s wedding🕺. Sheldon is both confused and amazed😳 after looking at the different varieties of Biryani that are being served for dinner.🤩🥘
Well Shelly, my favourite Biryani is definitely the ‘Lucknow Biryani’. I remember the days when , I used to stay in Lucknow. The light, aromatic and super delicious Biryani along with some ‘Galouti Kebabs and Ulte Tawe ka Parathas’ felt like ‘Heaven on Earth.’🤤☮
My Bengali readers must have heard about the richness of Lucknowi food on the superhit ‘Detective Feluda’ film, ‘Badshahi Angti or The Royal Ring’, written by the Legendary Satyajit Ray.
I have not gone to Lucknow for a long long time. But my dear readers, I can definitely suggest you an ‘Biryani start-up’ which is famous for its ‘Lucknow Biryani’ and that is ‘Biryani By Kilo’.🥘
I absolutely love their Biryani! 😍🤤
Biryani by Kilo is a food start up run by Gurugram-based Sky Gate Hospitality Pvt Ltd, and was founded in 2015 by Kaushik Roy and Vishal Jindal.
BBK was launched with an intent to preserve the Khansama style of cooking wherein the biryani is freshly cooked with rich ingredients, unlike other brands where the food is cooked in bulk and repackaged & sold. No doubt why BBK is a big hit among Biryani lovers.😍😋
Now that I am here in Kolkata.
I am enjoying the Biryani of Aminia, Arsalan, Oudh.
Kolkata Biryani is wonderful, man.
And Now I am utterly confused between the Lucknow and Kolkata versions.
I really don’t know which is now my favourite LOL.

As a biryani lover, I loved reading this! I love Biryani By Kilo. My favorite is the Muradabadi Biryani though. For me, Kolkata biryani wins over Lucknowi.
